Sean’s first job in racing was as an apprentice to Major Dick Hearn before he moved to work for Mark Tompkins to ride and look after Bob’s Return who won the St Ledger. As an apprentice he rode 28 winners. Sean has lived at Manton since 1995 joined the Brian Meehan Racing team when they took over the Manton reins in 2006. He is now our senior work rider. When not spending time with the family he likes to play golf and also play and teach the guitar.
