Originally from Cork, Ireland, Aaron started out with John Joseph Murphy, he then went onto Stan Moore’s in 2018 - 2019 where he first took out his apprentice license. His first winner came in January of 2019 at Wolverhampton on Warrior Display (IRE). Aaron then returned to Ireland as apprentice for John Murphy. He had 5 winners in total in Ireland including a double in the summer Killarney Festival and the Galway festival in 2019 for Ian O’Connor on Jazz Lady in the apprentice race.

From Ireland, Aaron decided to give racing in France a go. He was there for just under 2 and half years before coming to us at Manton in December 2022. During his time in France he rode for Nicolas Clement and Tim Donworth and became fluent in French. His last winner in France was at Haras Le Pin on Fraccetta just before moving to England. He has had just short of 38 winners from Ireland, France, Switzerland and Belgium. His biggest win to date was on board Get Set (IRE) for Andrews Hollinshead at Chantilly in May 2021.
